The problem

Stores lose calls: the operator can't keep up, after hours it's silence, and a call center is expensive. Classic chatbots can't do voice and don't act inside Shopify.

What it does for a store

  • Answers every inbound call — no operator, no IVR menu.
  • Answers about products, delivery and store policy from Shopify data that syncs automatically.
  • Checks order status by a number spoken aloud (understands both "1001" and "one-zero-zero-one").
  • Searches products and checks stock by description.
  • Validates discount codes and reads back the terms.
  • Collects a callback request (name → confirmed phone → reason) and notifies the store instantly.
  • Transfers to a manager with voice confirmation.

What we built

  • A Shopify app (Remix / React Router 7 on Google Cloud Run): OAuth, billing, multi-tenant Postgres, GDPR webhooks, knowledge-base sync, admin dashboard.
  • A voice runtime (Python, LiveKit Agents + LangGraph): a state machine with dedicated nodes per action — order, product search, discount, callback, transfer, RAG answer.
  • Auto knowledge-base sync: products, pages, policies from Shopify → pgvector; updates on install, daily and on-demand.
  • A store dashboard: a call list with transcripts, audio playback and a sentiment badge; callback tickets with click-to-dial.
  • An eval harness: 346 real support scenarios + automated quality checks (LLM judge).
  • Number provisioning: a phone number is assigned automatically on install via LiveKit SIP.

  • The product was built by Aceverse's team and is in pilot rollout with first customers. The end-to-end voice flow was validated on a real phone number — 335 unit tests and 346 eval scenarios pass.
